Sometimes I Just Have Fun.

I was able to spend my Monday afternoon with my best friend (and AMAZING photographer) Tiffany of Tiffany Mae Photography, while she shot a gorgeous couple’s engagement session.  Thankfully I brought my own camera along and was able to play around a bit!  We caught the most beautiful sunsets.  Seattle is simply stunning.

The Palfreyman Crew

Friday morning, I drove to take photos of a beautiful extended family, inside their gorgeous home.  The light was stunning, and the children were happy.  Such joy and laughter!  It melts my heart.

Lovely Family of 3

This family faced the chilly cold weather for a short family session last Sunday.  This sweet baby girl was all smiles!  So hard to believe that it was cold, when looking at the happiness on their faces.

The Whiting Family!

I can’t say enough how much I love this profession, but I REALLY LOVE WHAT I DO!  This was by far the most fun session I’ve had in a very long time.  The handsome young man you see in these photos just might have something to do with that.  😉

Perkins Family Preview

I spent this last Sunday evening with The Perkins Family.  Talk about some Swoon-Worthy family moments!

Spent My Evening….

…with this lovely family!  Their oldest is starting her senior year of high school, and the family couldn’t be more proud.  What a gorgeous bunch!  The youngest daughter is quite the character and loves all things creepy, crawly, and furry, and happens to be my own daughter’s best friend.  🙂

A couple weeks ago, I had the idea to take pictures of bubbles.   They’re really quite beautiful, when the light shines on them just right.  The blues and purples, golds and greens.  My daughter had fun, I captured some great images, and we even saw a bunny.  I think I’ll keep bubbles in my photography bag from now on.

These particular bubbles seemed to be stronger than most.  They rested lightly on the grass all around us.

All in all, we had a fun day.

At the very end of our impromptu session, a tiny little bunny burst out through the trees!  I was so surprised at how close I was able to get to this little guy.  It was such a treat.

I’ve noticed that my best images tend to be unplanned.  Spur of the moment, “Hey, let’s go outside and blow some bubbles!” happen to result in fabulous memories, and wonderful images.
