One of the best parts of being a family photographer in the Seattle area, is exploring the natural scenery around this marvelous city. When it comes to photography, the background can make or break an image. This is when location scouting comes in to play. Every now and then, I drag a kid or two (of mine) out to a new spot and explore the light and surroundings. It’s lots of fun, and gives me an excuse to take pictures of my babies.
Recently, I discovered a gem of a park in Seattle. Tall trees, old historic buildings, fields of wild flowers, and access to a sandy beach area with glorious sunsets. Take a look at some of my favorite images from this park. Some of you may even recognize this location. 😉
